Heavy Vehicle Fault Management
Detect, log and escalate vehicle faults in real time — keeping your heavy vehicles roadworthy and your business compliant.

What is fault management?
Fault management is the process of detecting, recording, tracking and resolving vehicle defects and mechanical issues. For heavy vehicle operators, unresolved faults represent both a safety risk and a chain of responsibility liability.
Netcorp's fault management system integrates with digital pre-start checks, CANBUS diagnostics and driver reporting to create a continuous fault lifecycle — from detection through to resolution and sign-off.
How it works
Detection: Faults are identified through pre-start checks, CANBUS engine data, driver reports or supervisor inspections.
Logging: Every fault is logged with timestamp, GPS location, vehicle ID, driver ID, photos and description.
Escalation: Critical faults trigger immediate notifications to supervisors and maintenance teams. Vehicles can be flagged as unfit for use.
Resolution: Maintenance actions are recorded against the fault. Once resolved, a supervisor signs off and the vehicle is cleared.
Audit trail: The complete fault lifecycle is stored as an auditable record for chain of responsibility compliance.
